Thank you everyone for a wonderful Christmas season! There was no way to include photos from every session or even all of my favorites, but here are a few highlights. 18 families across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Alabama and it was a blast!

Providence, Rhode IslandThe most gorgeous morning in Providence with Steph and Kyle. Scroll to the end for a surprise twist ending to their engagement session!
Connimicut Point Park, Warwick, Rhode IslandI don't always blog my family sessions, but, when I do, it is a sunset session at Conimicut Point Park with the funnest family of all time. It was so cold but they were able to stay laughing the whole time! Enjoy their smiles!
Crowne Plaza - Warwick, RIAnna contacted me a week and a half before her wedding when her photographer bailed on her. I'm so happy we were able to make it work for me to be there for her and Abdul's wedding! It was a hot and humid day but the rain held out until LITERALLY the second we were done with portraits. See the photo below of the wedding party running for the limo as the hardest rain I've ever experience poured down!
The ceremony was at The Chapel by the Sea in Warwick, RI, we did Portraits at Conimicut Point Park Beach and Goddard Park, and the reception took place at The Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI. My favorite memory is of Abdul while we did portraits! Every time we had to move Anna we had to hold her dress up high and reposition the dress. Abdul would grab that huge dress up in his arms with a smile on his face and say "where to next"! It was so sweet to see this new groom caring for his bride to make sure everything was perfect for their wedding day. Congratulations you two. I can't wait to celebrate all of your anniversaries! Sarah and Jason were the first couple to book me for a wedding when I moved to New England, so it was fitting that their wedding was an explosion of Rhode Island experiences for their friends and family! From their portraits at the Jamestown Historic Windmill to a traditional Rhode Island Clambake at Kempeneer's in Middleton, RI, I experienced so many of my Rhode Island firsts this day. The couple and many of their friends and family traveled in from Philadelphia so the bride actually had to lead a demonstration at the reception to teach the guests how to eat a longneck steamer (did I say that right?!). The day started with torrential downpours, but just when we needed the rain to let up, the most beautiful sun came out and our Noah's ark weather backed off for the guest to enjoy the reception festivities. Thank you Sarah and Jason for trusting this southern girl with your Rhode Island day and for sticking with me even though I was partially in labor during our first phone call :)
Thanks to Marcela Plosker for second shooting for me and for being such a fantastic photographer every time we work together! |
