From the Couple: Two lives changed the night that Martine forced Marsha to go to a music video shoot in Hollywood. There, on Cosmo Street, Ben was soaking in his 2nd night after moving to LA. He was watching a drone that was being used for the video shoot and, thats when Marsha walked up and casually told him he looks like Justin Timberlake. The rest is history. They were instant friends, and quickly became best friends. And now about to be married! When they were friends, people had always told them that they were meant to be together… guess they were right. Three and a half years after meeting on Cosmo Street, Ben coordinated a surprise proposal in the exact same spot. There is a Sunday farmer’s market on the street, and Ben had one of Marsha's friends take her to do some “shopping". Meanwhile, Ben dressed up in disguise with a musician he hired and sang a bunch of Marsha and his favorite songs. She had no idea it was him! They started playing Bruno Mars 'I Think I Wanna Marry You" when Ben suddenly came out of disguise and proposed. We are both are from Massachusetts but met and now are living in California - we think our paths probably crossed more than once before we actually met. Our timing was perfect and meant for us. We can't wait to continue to build our life together and to celebrate our love with our family and friends! We're seriously so excited.

Kristin was so worried that she would be awkward and embarrassed in front of the camera that she originally opted out of doing engagement photos! I am so happy that she changed her mind, because she was so fun and cute in front of the camera. Engagement photos are the perfect way to warm up with your photographer before the big day. Enjoy a sneak peak at Kristin and Bryan's Lincoln Woods Engagement session.
Maya and Alex had been engaged for 10 years and planning their wedding for 6 weeks on the day of their wedding! Maya was the most laid back bride of all time - even letting Alex pick the venue and keep it a surprise from her until the day of the wedding!! And he nailed it. The Chandler hotel at Cliff Walk in Newport, RI was a beautiful site for their pre-ceremony festivities and portraits. Enjoy a snapshot of their day.
I have been photographing the Lavigne family for awhile now, and every milestone just gets better and better! John and Morgan just welcomed baby Crew and I was able to spend time with at the hospital for a Fresh48 session and back at home for a lifestyle newborn session. Enjoy all her squishiness!
I cried during Matt and Katie's ceremony while continuing to take photos! The clouds were low and white, the wind was blowing just enough to give movement in all of the right fabrics, a classical version of Forever by Chris Brown was playing, we were on a mountain ridge in the Appalachians, and I couldn't help myself! It reminded me of the wedding scene from Crazy Rich Asians. It was so beautiful and dreamy and perfect.
I've known Matt and Katie for about 6 years and they are absolutely a match for each other. They are adventurous and easy going and hard working and I could go on forever with love notes about them! They wanted a venue where the location was the theme and decor and they nailed it with the Ridge in Asheville, North Carolina. It was suppose to storm all weekend, but we ended up with 10 minutes of rain and beautiful skies the rest of the day! Enjoy a few snippets from their April, 2019 wedding!
